Pangkor Laut Couples Spa Holiday video:
At the Pangkor Laut Spa Village the Couples Spa Experience includes a series of special body treatments for her and for him, based on these ancient Malay wedding traditions. The Secrets of Puteri Lindungan Bulan and Panglima Bukit Gantang are highly fitting royal treatments for a warrior and his princess.
A Malay wedding ceremony is renowned for its pomp and pageantry, practised for hundreds of years from generation to generation. On the day of the wedding, the couple is often called King and Queen of the day or in Malay, Raja Sehari. The custom of preparing the bride and bridegroom is a highly treasured family secret in the Malay world. Traditional Malay wedding culture seeks to prepare the wedding couple holistically, involving the mind, body and spirit.

Pangkor Laut is a privately owned island located three miles off the West Coast of Malaysia along the Straits of Malacca. This piece of paradise has been 2 million years in the making, and here you will find one of the world’s premier resorts nestling in the shade of forest giants as old as the land. You will find no other resorts – just secluded bays curled around pristine beaches, evening skies woven with colour, and a deep sense of serenity reserved exclusively for our guests. A combination of luxury, natural beauty and age-old wilderness woven together to produce an environment where peace and magically memorable moments are the currency. Of the island’s 300 acres, only a fraction has been developed to house the Resort and its eight Estates. Wooden buildings blend seamlessly into the forest as if nature had been the architect dictating how walls curve around foliage, and roofs open up to allow trees to continue on their journey to the sky.

“We loved our villa at Pangkor Laut, the romantic music and the flowers in the tub were so nice when we arrived. The fresh fruit delivered each day was delicious and the restaurants on the Island were great. The sunset cruise was excellent, as was the adventure to the Nine Islands. We snorkeled, fished and ate like kings! Emerald Bay is beautiful at sunset and the sunrise from our villa was fantastic! Everyone was so friendly and helpful on the Island, I can’t wait to come back!”

“Our estate was fantastic, far more beautiful than we ever thought it could be. Our bedroom looks out on a white sand shoreline and a deep blue sea. It’s completely romantic. We have our own cook. The place is entirely peaceful as we are entirely on our own in our own private estate in paradise. We hope to come back again in years to come – with a family.”
