ROUND HILL AND VILLAS
Description
This delightful villa resort is perched on a lush, green peninsula, not far from Montego Bay. Surrounded by a 100-acre plantation that once produced pineapple and coconuts, Round Hill cascades past stately palms and magical gardens down to its own pristine crescent beach. Since 1953 Round Hill has been welcoming the literati and glitterati. Accommodation
There are 36 spacious Oceanfront Rooms in the Pineapple House, downstairs with balconies and upstairs with cathedral ceilings. Rooms are designed by Ralph Lauren and evoke tropical living with four-poster beds and sumptuous upholstery. They are air-conditioned and have louvred windows that take full advantage of the view. The Superior, Deluxe and Master Villa Suites are in 27 villas dotted around the hillside and have private living rooms or verandas, and magnificent sea views. Deluxe and Master Villa Suites have shared pool. Complete Villas can be rented with a private pool for up to ten persons.Hotel Facilities
Facilities include complimentary non-motorised watersports such as windsurfing and snorkelling, while water-skiing, scuba-diving and private sailing charters are also available (payable locally). There are five tennis courts and an air-conditioned fitness room. For a little pampering, The Spa at Round Hill, located in an 18th Century plantation house, offers a wide range of Elemis spa and beauty treatments. Children aged three to eleven will make new friends at the Pineapple Kids' Club. In the evening most guests gather at the bar for cocktails before dinner on the terrace. Entertainment changes nightly and there's also a variety of theme nights to enjoy.Wellbeing Facilities
The SPA at Round Hill is located in a beautifully restored 18th century plantation house on 10 acres of beachfront lawn. The facilities include an indoor and outdoor fitness center, full service beauty salon, seven body treatment rooms as well as an outdoor treatment area, set amidst abundant gardens. The waterfront lawn is used for afternoon yoga classes or massages by the sea.
