AL MAHA
Description
Al Maha is an exclusive oasis, located 45 minutes from Dubai, set within a 225-square-kilometer desert conservation reserve. It provides the experienced traveler with a unique experience of the desert, the heritage of the region, and traditional activities of the Bedu. Accommodation
Each of the 40 Bedouin Suites offer bedrooms decked with handcrafted furniture, spacious stone bathrooms and private sun-decks complete with full-size (7.5 x 6.5m) swimming pools. All suite have panoramic views across the vast desert plain. In addition, there are two Royal Suites (see below) and the opulent two-bedroom Emirates Suite.Hotel Facilities
All meals are included in rates. The cuisine combines traditional Gulf ingredients into classic, wholesome courses at every meal. Special attention is given to personal choices and requests, from breakfast on the private deck or your suite, a buffet lunch in the dining room, to a picnic in the dunes. Al Maha is a sanctuary for man and beast alike, its private nature reserve rekindling the surprising life of the desert. Knowledgeable field guides will seek rheem gazelle, scimitar-horned oryx, Arabian oryx, and rare Arabian fox with you on a safari, either on foot or in the comfort of an air-conditioned four-wheel-drive vehicle. Daily camel trekking, horseback riding, and falconry demonstrations. The Jamila Spa offers a range of treatments including hydrotherapy and Rasool therapy.
