THE SEYCHELLES WELLBEING HOLIDAYS
The Seychelles: a deserted island surrounded by tropical plants, swaying palm trees and soft white sandy coral beaches, stretching as far as the eye can see. It is thousand miles from anywhere, where summer is eternal, time stands still, just the sounds of crystal clear water lapping on the shore. Even the most vivid imagination can barely touch the living beauty of these islands, discovered only two centuries ago. You can snorkel and scuba dive, hold hands under an ebony sky lit by a tropical moon, or simply wallow in your achievements. It boasts exotic flora and fauna that can be found nowhere else on earth - 2000 species of tropical plants, palm trees, filaos and even the famousā? Coco de Mer" palm. The Seychelles is an island nation in the Indian Ocean off the east coast of Africa. The principal island of Mahe has a population of about 50,000. The two other islands with significant permanent populations are Praslin and La Digue. The Seychelles archipelago of more than a hundred islands stretches for hundreds of miles. Mahe is the largest of the Seychelles islands and is home to the capital, Victoria, and the international airport, the commercial ports, fishing boats, and the largest percentage of population. Mahe has most of the hotels including two casinos. The Seychelles has much more than beautiful beaches and great diving. Hiking on the many trails through the jungles, to the mountain tops and to secluded beaches will seem like you are the very first visitor, is one of the great pleasures of the islands. Deep sea fishing and sailing are also extremely popular. Many world record fish have been caught in the Seychelles. The islands are densely populated by land and sea birds, some of them very rare, are found only on specific islands. Day and overnight trips to other islands such as Cerf, Silhouette, North, Bird, Denis, Cousin, Cousine, Felicite and Fregate are quite popular. The Seychelles has it all, harmoniously blended, offering luxurious or rustic accommodation and tantalizing, tempting, tropical delights expertly prepared to please the most delicate of palates. It's all yours and waiting to be explored. Seychelles is a multi-racial nation and the national languages of the country are English, French and Creole.Capital Mahe
