Description
Island Hideaway at Dhonakulhi Spa Resort & Marina is a luxury resort hotel on Dhonakulhi Island, set in an unrivalled tropical paradise. Dhonakulhi Island is a perfect crescent of vegetation set in a virgin atoll in one of the Maldives' largest lagoons.TRANSFER: 55 minutes scenic scheduled flight to Hanimaadhoo airport followed by a 25 minute speedboat ride to Dhonakulhi Island.
Accommodation
Funa beachfront Pavilions have their own garden, separate sleeping and living area, open air bathroom and wooden patio facing the beach. Each has air conditioning, television, CD/DVD, super king size beds, outdoor garden shower, ceiling fan, bath and shower, coffee maker, mini bar and telephone. The Raamba Retreats are also on the beach and are more spacious. The majestic Dhonakulhi Residence are each incredibly spacious, have potdoor jacuzzi, open plan living area, timber deck and outdoor seating area upstairs, garden dining pavilion and Maldavian swing.Hotel Facilities
All the restaurants are located on the beachfront and include the sandy floored Matheefaru restaurant and the fine dining Gaafushi. Alternatively, you can walk out to a nearby sandbank and dine in romantic privacy, or dine in the your own villa or while away the eveings in the beachside Meeru Bar. Facilities include a swimming pool, children spool, catamaran, water skiing, snorkelling, windsurfing, canoeing or sail on traditional Maldavian Dhoni boat or speedboat to one of the nearby uninhabited islands. Try the large dive centre, enjoy a game of tennis, volleyball, jog along the large beach, cycle along hidden trails or work out at the fitness suite.
