TONGSAI BAY
Description
In a tropical, romantic garden setting leading down to the hotle's private beach, the accommodation at Tongsai Bay is in low rise chalets and cottages with attractive sea views. The principle followed by the resort's owner is that guests can be as close to nature as they wish. When the individual 'cottages' were built, he requested that no trees be felled and encouraged the resident frogs, monitor lizards and squirrels to share the habitat.TRANSFER: 15 minutes from Koh Samui airport.
Accommodation
Very spacious and elegantly furnished, seafront cottage suites have air conditioning, minibar, television, DVD/CD player, telephone, safe, hairdryer and coffee making facilities, sunken baths and a large private balcony/sun terrace with outstading views accross the bay. The 11 Tongsai Grand Villa's have a larger more unique open air balcony featuring a bathtub, a gazebo, with mosquito net, where guests can choose to sleep outside and a bar. Four Tongsai pool villas are also available with facilities the same as the Grand Villas but with a private plunge pool. Other cottages are available.Hotel Facilities
Floyd's Beach Bistro, specialises in stir-fries, while Chef Chom's Thai Restaurant serves authentic Thai food on an open-air terrace overlooking the bay. A third restaurant serves European dishes on a daily changing menu. On site facilities include: room service, 2 swimming pools, private beach, snooker and tennis courts. On the beach choose from windsurfing, canoes and snorkelling where non-motorised water sports are free of charge. There is also an exercise room and an excellent full service spa.Wellbeing Facilities
