MALAYSIA WELLBEING HOLIDAYS

Malaysia is an interesting country with a multiracial and multicultural make-up and history. Beside the local Malays and native groups it has immigrants from China, India, Indonesia and other parts of the world that have all contributed to making it a fascinating country. Its interesting cultural diversity can be largely attributed to the country's long and on going interaction with the outside world and colonial rule by the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British. Its evolution into a cultural melting pot is evident in the unique blend of religions, socio-cultural activities and traditions, clothes, languages and food. For the growing number of present day adventurers, Malaysia is a year round destination (though some areas are more affected by monsoons than others). There are really only two seasons - rainy and dry - but overall Malaysia is generally sunny, hot and humid with temperatures ranging between 21C and 32C, except the Hill Stations where the weather is cooler, especially at night. Malaysia has two coastlines, each with its own weather pattern. The west coast (Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Penang) is best visited between December and April before the rainy season of May and October. The east coast is climatically opposite and is best from April to October.
