HONG KONG WELLBEING HOLIDAYS
Nothing in the world can prepare you for Hong Kong. The towering skyscrapers may remind you of New York, but early Hong Kong remains in the tortuous maze of narrow lanes in Western District which still retain the pungent aromas of the Orient and in the mouth watering array of open air food stalls. There are more restaurants per capita in Hong Kong than anywhere else in the world and glittering shopping malls abound. To glimpse a greener, softer Hong Kong, take a boat trip around the coast and discover tranquillity in the peaceful offshore islands, in the picturesque villages and in the paddy fields. Hong Kong is a gourmet's paradise and every year it holds a food festival which produces a feast of flavours to tempt every palate. This festival is normally at the beginning of March. Also in March is the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, where teams from all over the world compete. Because of its popularity, you must book early for this event. Dating back thousands of years, the Dragon Boat races in June have become an international event with colourful boats crashing through the water to the roars of huge watching crowds.
